Methodist Women's MinistryList Item 2
The Methodist Women’s Ministry at Clarkesville First Methodist Church is known as the “Friends in Faith Circle”.
The Women’s Ministry is all about Building Friendship, bringing women of all ages together to share their life stories, laugh, and make deep, lasting friendships. Women gather to read the Bible, talk about faith, and learn how to be better mothers, wives, sisters, and friends.
The Friends in Faith Circle meets every 3rd Tuesday in the legacy hall at 5:30pm.
The Women of the church host an annual Advent luncheon the first Saturday in December.
This event has been an annual part of Women’s fellowship for the past 25 years.
Friends in Faith will host and ladies are encouraged to participate and come to the event to kick off the advent season.
The Friends in Faith Circle also sponsors and stocks the Blessing box on the church campus, collecting food donations and keeping it stocked as needed.
The Women's Ministry also includes the Kite Stribling circle. They meet during the day and focus a lot on providing hospitality to the preschool. This circle is a great group of ladies.

GriefShare is a specialized support group program designed to help individuals heal from the deep pain of losing a loved one. It is a Christ-centered ministry that brings people together in a safe, welcoming environment to navigate the complex emotions of grief.The program generally follows a structured 13-week format.
